One of Shenyang’s most popular sights, the Imperial Mausoleum consists of Zhaoling (North Tomb) and Fuling (East Tomb). The North Tomb is the finest sight in Shenyang. Set in a huge park, it is the burial place of Qing Dynasty founder Huang Taiji (1592-1643).
Fuling Tomb houses the Emperor Nurhachi and Empress Yehenala (Xiaochigao), and is set in a forested area 8 kilometres from Shenyang.
