Robin Zavou Makes Guest Appearance

Chef Robin Zavou from Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore's signature BLU restaurant will make a guest appearance at Island Shangri-La's Lobster Bar and Grill from 21 to 31 August 2008.  British-born Zavou will share his contemporary style of cooking with guests during lunch and dinner.

He has worked with some of the best chefs in the United Kingdom, including Raymond Blanc, John Burton-Race, Michael Womersley and Nigel Marriage. Most recently, he was the head chef for the New Angel restaurant in Devon, United Kingdom and received critical acclaim for his approach to food and cooking, which resulted in a Michelin Star within seven months of the restaurant's opening, as well as the "Restaurant of the Year for England 2004/2005" award.

Chef Zavou's two and three-course lunches are priced at HKD 280 and HKD 310 respectively, and a four-course dinner is priced at HKD 588.
