Exploring Fuzhou
In the northwest of Fuzhou is West Lake Park (Xihu Gongyuan), which features a large artificial lake and is a popular place for locals to congregate on the weekends. The Fujian Provincial Museum is a futuristic building with many excellent exhibits, including a pair of well-preserved mummies that were unearthed in 1986 and date back to 1235 AD.
