Mr. Bridle supervises the hotels' vice presidents to ensure optimal operational and financial performance among existing and opening hotels, as well as represents the management company to the owners and shareholders. Mr. Bridle was a group vice president for the last two of his 15 years with Shangri-La and previously was group director of operations. He has held general manager posts at Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong and Far Eastern Plaza Hotel, Taipei. Before joining the company, Mr. Bridle, a UK native, held management positions with luxury hotel groups in South Africa, including Southern Sun Hotels and Westin Hotels in Johannesburg.
